The 66th annual Affair of the Heart is taking place in Washington next month. A presentation of The Women’s Board of the AHA Greater Washington Region, a portion of all proceeds will go to the Go Red for Women campaign of the American Heart Association.

Guests will enjoy a VIP or general reception, which will give them the opportunity to perform some networking, enjoy a sit-down luncheon and take in a fashion show. Bloomingdale’s will be presenting the best fashion from Spring 2014 and collections from several top designers.

Sponsorships are also available for local businesses and individuals from $500 up to $5,000. All sponsors will be recognized at the event.

The Women’s Board, which is a wholly volunteer group, helps to raise funds for research into heart disease in women. In the past 12 years, the group has raised in excess of $6m.

This event is expected to attract over 1,000 guests from all over the area, including nearby Arlington. To help spread the word about such important charity fundraisers, local print companies are often asked to provide products such as brochures and flyers. These can then be easily distributed throughout the city and its suburbs.

The Affair of the Heart is taking place at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel on February 10 from 11:00 am- 2:00 pm. Tickets are $125 each. To find out more about the event, contact Kirsten Baier at 703-248-1787 or Roxana at 703-248-1712.
