Night with the stars awaits in Wilmington

‘Reaching for the Stars’ features the wonderful music from West Side Story this weekend and is an event that will be honoring the prior Music School Board Members and Board Chairs. One of Bernstein’s most stunning collections, it will be performed by the Music School’s Festival Orchestra. Brochure printing, poster printing, and possibly flyer printing have been used to promote this performance to people in the Wilmington area.

This concert features the outstanding symphonic dances of West Side Story and there will be various works performed by those who won at the Delaware Concerto Competition for Young Musicians.

The conductor for this event is Simeone Tartaglione, and the performance will feature Gary Scott on piano, Marius Sander playing the saxophone, and David Clark on violin. This event is fully handicap accessible and there is assistance for children as well. Tickets for this event must be purchased at The Grand Opera House Box office only.

This performance is being sponsored by Jacobs Music Company. For those who enjoyed West Side Story, the orchestra has a fantastic way of bringing back the lasting memories that dwell in people’s memories.

Tickets are $12 per person. The Reaching for the Stars performance will take place this Saturday, June 1, beginning at 7:30 pm at The Grand Opera House located at 818 N.
