Delaware chamber’s schedule looks full

If the Delaware State Chamber of Commerce calendar is anything to go by, Wilmington professionals have their pick of several events to choose from.

Events kick off February 28th with the Chamber Leadership Breakfast with Dr. Harry Williams. Taking place early from 7:30 am to 9:15 am and being hosted by the Delaware State University’s President, the 2012 Chamber Leadership series is going to be one worth attending.

Following on the heels of the Leadership Breakfast, members of the business community will have an opportunity to engage in constructive conversation with lawmakers during the Legislative Forum on March 5th. Going through lunch hour from noon until 1:30 pm, Representative Dan Short and Representative Byron Short will both be there and ready to answer questions.

With respect to events that will likely require the printing services of a firm that offers business card printing, the next one is happening on March 6th with the Networking Breakfast that’s being held at Delcastle Technical High School. Free to attend and expected to begin at 7:30 am while concluding at 9:00 am, this has all the hallmarks of a quick but productive networking session.

On the 14th of March, the chamber will be hosting an SBA Workshop that’s going by the title “Profitable Networking”. Also listed as a morning event that starts at 7:30 am and ends at around 9:30 am, this is going to be nothing less than an information-packed presentation. Priced at $20 for members and $30 for non-members, this event will cover everything professionals need to know about networking.

As most can see, there’s plenty for Wilmington entrepreneurs to do here.
