Strawberry celebration set for Ashland this spring

March 3, 2018 by

A celebration is on the way for Ashland that will help to shake off the winter chill.

A strawberry and wine Festival has been planned for Hanover Vegetable Farm, and it will be an all-ages event. It is scheduled to run for two days, and an assortment of activities is on the agenda.

Those who come to the festival will be able to enjoy samples from a variety of local wineries and breweries, and area bands will supply the entertainment. Vendors will also be on site, and the guests will be able to browse through their displays and perhaps even purchase a souvenir of the occasion. Special activities will be on offer for the kids, and shortcake and other dishes that feature fresh spring strawberries will be featured.

Each person over the age of 21 who pays the full admission price will receive a wine tasting glass, and the first 500 through the gate each day who are 21 or older will be given a free koozie and tote bag. Promotional products such as these can be sourced form a print company in the local area.

This welcome to the warm days of spring will be taking place at 13580 Ashland Road on May 19th and 20th. The host’s website includes additional information about the weekend’s activities for anyone who wishes to find out more.
