Andover gets new senior living facility

Capitol Seniors Housing (CSH) recently broke ground on a new assisted living complex in Andover.

To be known as Stonehill of Andover, the complex will be 81,500 square feet in size have 96 units for housing. The Northbridge Companies will operate the facility, which will also include a fitness room, activity room, salon, and theater and surround a courtyard.

The cost for the project will be $36.5 million with an opening date expected in late 2018.

Scott Stewart, Managing Partner of Capitol Seniors Housing, commented that the company is excited about getting construction started on this facility along with five other such communities it is building across the country. The company recently opened the Summit of Uptown in Park Ridge, Illinois, Arbor Terrace Fairfax in Virginia, and Arbor Terrace Morris Plains in New Jersey.

A Principal at Capitol Seniors Housing, Joe McElwee, added that the company is looking forward to creating quality senior living facilities to the family-oriented town of Andover. It has an easy and quick commute to Boston, many amenities, and a strong sense of community.
