Still plenty ahead this year for Anaheim theatergoers

The Segerstrom Center For the Art in Anaheim has scheduled a range of shows for later November and the rest of this year.

Located at 600 Town Center Drive, the shows on offer at the theater are plays, concerts, and dance.

‘Something Rotten’, a Tony award musical, started on Tuesday, November 7 and runs until next Sunday, November 19. About two brothers trying to write their hit musical play in the 1950, it has entertaining singing, dancing and acting, and runs for about two and a half hours.

‘Journey to Oz’, children’s production, plays on November 18 at 1:00 pm and November 19 at 1:00 and 3:00 pm. A fun production of the Wizard of Oz, it allows children in the audience participate.

‘Tango Buenos Aires’ depicts the spirit of music and dance in Argentina. It runs on November 18 at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm and November 19 at 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm. The show traces the history of the tango and music in the South American country.

Lastly, Gershwin’s Piano Concert in F will be performed on November 30, December 1, and December 2 at 8:00 pm. Anu Tali will be guest conductor, and pianist Xiayin Wang will perform along with the Pacific Symphony
