Chance Theater announces part of 2018 Season

The Chance Theater in Anaheim has revealed the shows and performances it will be hosting during the first half of 2018.

On February 2 to March 4, ‘Violet’, a musical, will be performed. Through rock, gospel, country, and R&B music, it tells the story of a young woman with a scarred face that makes a journey to an evangelist to heal her face. All adult shows are for children 13 and older.

The TYA family series will perform ‘James and the Giant Peach’ by author Roald Dahl from February 16 to March 4. The story is about James Henry Trotter, who lives with his two cruel elderly aunts. In the garden, a large peach grows with several insects that take James on an exciting adventure.

‘Good People’ will be performed from April 20 to May 20. This dramatic comedy was written by David Lindsey Abaire, and chronicles the struggles of a single mother and as she looks to survive in her South Boston neighborhood.

On May 4 to June 3, ‘Elevada’, a romantic comedy, will performed. In the tale, Ramona and Khalil meet through dancing and look for love, despite the high stakes in finding it.

Parking is available in front of the theater and within walking distance.
