Angel Stadium to host Monster Energy Supercross event

Angel Stadium in Anaheim will be the Round 1 and Round 3 location for 2017’s Monster Energy Supercross Event.

The month’s long competition will continue at various cities across the country, concluding with Round 17 being held in May at Sam Boyd Stadium in Las Vegas.

The event, which was formed in 1974, features many top professional riders and takes place at various venues who turn their arenas into dirt tracks for the riders. Monster Energy Supercross is an FIM World Championship event and promotional products are available on the organizer’s website. The sport which is one of the fastest growing in the nation, attracting over a million fans over the course of the competitions. It consists of high speed racing on sometimes airborne bikes.

The riders are anxious to kick off the series of events in hopes of becoming the next Monster Energy Supercross champion. The competition attracts riders from all over the world who thrive on adrenalin from the cheers of the crowd. This is the kickoff year for a new event called ‘Motofest – The World’s Greatest Motocross Festival’ which will take place in Atlanta while the team is there for Round 8.

Angel Stadium is located at 2000 Gene Autry Way. Tickets are available on line at Ticketmaster or via the event organizer’s website. Round 1 will be held on January 7 and Round 3 will be on January 21. Ticket prices range from $30 to $130.
