Ambler residents to save on airfare by enjoying Oktoberfest at home

Everyone is invited to the family-friendly 26th annual Ambler Oktoberfest celebration coming up very soon.

The yearly celebration of Oktoberfest is a popular fall kickoff for Ambler residents and visitors from surrounding communities. The Bavarian-inspired festival is one of the largest events the community plans each year.

This year’s event is expected to have over 90 vendors offering a variety of food, drink, and arts and crafts. A beer garden, samples from local restaurants, and live entertainment will also be available all day.

The event is open to everyone and there will be plenty of activities to keep children busy, including a variety of amusement park rides. Butler Avenue will be closed to traffic for the day and lined with vendors and local food trucks offering an eclectic mix of popular fare. There is no admission fee to attend the event.

The party will take place on October 7 from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Butler Avenue in downtown Ambler.

Vendors are still welcome to join the celebration. The organizers are still seeking food vendors, artists, direct sales vendors, and many others. The party typically draws between 4,000 to 5,000 attendees, so this is an opportunity for vendors to print up some brochures and meet prospective customers. Contact 215-646-1000, Ext. 121 for more information or to register as a vendor.
