Ambler residents invited to get fit and have fun

A local fall festival is helping residents to shape up before the holiday season, while also raising money for a local animal center.

The Sweat Fitness center in Conshohocken is inviting everyone to its Fall Fitness Festival. Two free fitness classes for all adult guests will take place during the event. These include kickboxing and cycling. Following the classes, there is a fun festival with plenty of refreshments and games, face painting, and other activities.

The event will also include guest appearances by local dogs from the Providence Animal Center who are all in need of good homes. The fitness club is donating all of the proceeds from the event to the animal shelter that provides rescue services, medical care, and placement of companion animals.

Fundraisers for animal causes often attract business intervention, and those involved can make the most out of them with marketing services and unique promotional products designed specifically for the fundraiser.

The Fall Fitness Festival takes place on October 21 from 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM at 200 Ridge Pike in Conshohocken. There is a $10 admission fee. In the event of rain, the event will take place on October 28, and notice will be provided of any changes within 12 hours of the event. Vendors are still welcome to join, and should contact Sweat Fitness to sign up or for any questions.
