Ambler event spotlights local restaurants

Ambler Restaurant Week is a popular annual event designed to increase public interest in downtown eateries, and loclas can enjoy it once again this month.

For an entire week, the restaurants participating in the event offer interesting lunch or dinner specials and prix fixe menus. A variety of dining establishments take part in the event, so there is something for everyone.

The hours of operation for each restaurant and the days of the week they are closed is left to the owners to determine. The organizers recommend everyone interested in dining out during the week should make a reservation because of the individual schedules of the businesses and the popularity of the event in the past.

Any restaurant that wants to be a part of the event can contact the organizers and submit their menu for the week. A simple poster or banner in the window will help residents to know that the restaurant is a part of the event.

Any restaurant patrons that would like to be notified of new menus can RSVP to the event on the Restaurant Week event page on Facebook. Everyone that does RSVP is included in the drawing for a gift certificate to be used during the week of the event.

The event is scheduled to begin on January 29 and continues through February 5, and takes place at a variety of locations along Ambler’s main street.
