Albuquerque event to light up the nighttime sky

October 3, 2017 by

This October, thousands of members of the public will be heading to Albuquerque to celebrate by launching their hopes and wishes into the nighttime sky.

The Lantern Fest, which is expected to attract a large crowd, will bring the residents of the city together in a an event that will light the way to a strong community. The family-friendly function will open with live music and stage shows, as well as face painters, s’mores, and balloon artists. As dusk approaches, the lanterns will be readied before being released into the air. Marketing services for a large community event like this can be provided by a local printer.

Those who plan on attending the event are advised by the organizers to arrive early, as this will ensure they get a good spot from which they can take in the spectacle. Attendees are welcome to bring along their own cold food and beverages, but outside alcohol will not be permitted on site. They are also encouraged to bring along folding chairs or a blanket to sit on, and if the weather is chilly, a sweater or light jacket may also be in order.

The Lantern Fest will take place in Sadina Speedway on October 28. Additional details, and a chance to register can be found on the event’s website.
