Elevator music event to give Anchorage a lift

March 7, 2014 by

This evening, ‘Music in the Elevator’ invites guests of all ages to come out and see how we have redefined what the public believes elevator music to be.

With some upbeat tunes and creative stories likely, the museum might have used poster printing and other printing services to promote this elevator event to people in the area who take an interest in music.

Attendees can sample some upbeat elevator music stories by the legendary Bunny Swan, a professional artisan and musician who combines modern and ancient rhythms designed to educate, create, and inspire the audiences that hear her performances. It has been performed locally and internationally and brings culture to the audience in unique and interesting forms. It offers a chance to take a ride on the museum’s large elevator and enjoy a live concert by this exciting and original performer.

Admission for this concert is free to everyone and this is part of the First Friday Series of events at the museum, which offers locals a chance to explore music as they see in the first weekend of every month.

Music in the Elevator will take place this evening, March 7, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Anchorage Museum located. To find out more about the event, visit the museum’s website or call 907-929-9201.
