Vendors sought for Alabaster 4th Fridays

A summer community event is set to start on the fourth Friday of this month.

Alabaster 4th Fridays is an opportunity for all vendors and artists in the Alabaster area to come together and introduce themselves and their products to the public. The monthly event takes place from April through August, and is open to food vendors, entertainers, and artists. Special play areas for children and entertainment for teens will also be available.

The Angel Warriors Foundation and the city of Alabaster are co-organizers of the event. All proceeds earned from vendor fees will support the Angel Warriors Foundation, a nonprofit that supports people with special needs.

Vendors and artists should get their promotional products and business cards ready for the busy season. The fees for space at the event range from a daily cost of $50 for nonfood vendors, $70 for food vendors with a current city permit, and $95 for food vendors without a current permit. Interested individuals or organizations must email or to receive approval before they can reserve a space.

All booth locations are given on a first come, first served basis. Businesses that reserve will be given the opportunity to choose their location if it is available. All vendors should register at least one week prior to the date when they wish to participate.

The events will take place from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm on April 27, May 25, and June 22, as well as July 27 and August 24. The booths will be set up in the field next to the Alabaster City Hall and the senior center.
