Fly fishing show to educate and entertain

January 11, 2019 by

The Fly Fishing Show is taking place in Duluth early next month.

The show promises to feature everything that the interested fisherman or fisherwoman will want to know and learn about. There will be plenty of vendors on hand to sell items such as rods, reels, clothing, books, and travel getaways. In addition, several conservationist organizations will be there to provide information to the public.

There will be a number of seminars, classes and workshops, speakers such as Gary Borger, Tom Boyd, and Dave Whitlock. There will also be a special Women’s Fly Fishing Showcase featuring topics unique to women.

Several professionals will be providing demonstrations of fly tying and casting.

The Fly Fishing Film Festival will also be taking place during the show. Tickets are $15 at the door or $10 in advance or with admission to the show. It will feature some of the newest films about fly fishing.

Duluth flyer printing firms are often asked to provide advertising for events like this, since flyers are inexpensive and easy to distribute.

The Fly Fishing Show will be held from February 1 to 2 starting at 9:00 AM each day at the Infinite Energy Forum. Tickets are $15 per day or $25 for two days for adults, $5 for children between the ages of 6 and 12, $10 for military personnel, and free to Boy Scouts under the age of 16 and in uniform.
