The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo is a three-week celebration of Western history and culture coming up later this month.

Livestock exhibitions, horse shows, and a parade and rodeo are just some of the events that take place during this exciting and well-loved local festival. The event is a destination for children and adults who take part in ranching and farming, as well as anyone who enjoys the culture of the American West.

A schedule that includes cowboy poetry, shooting competitions and much more ensures that every attendee has something to keep their interest during each day of the rodeo and stock show.

The parade, scholarship competitions, and art contest make it possible for everyone to contribute to the event. Many commercial exhibits will also be on display throughout the event, so shoppers can find an array of western gear and other items as well as many promotional products to enjoy from the participants.

Tickets to the rodeos are $30 each per event and $25 each for Mustang Magic shows. These events sell out quickly, so it is advised to order early. Wristbands for midway attractions and rides are $40 each. Admission to the grounds each day is $40 and comes in the form of a souvenir grounds pin. Admission to the parade is free unless reserved seating is preferred. Sundance Square Plaza reservations are $25 each and Convention Center reserved seating is $15 each. Group discounts are available for 25 people or more.

The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo takes place from January 18 to February 9 at 3400 Burnett-Tandy Drive in Fort Worth. Visit the event website for links to ticket sellers and the full event schedule.
