Schenectady art session to help keep winter blues at bay

December 30, 2018 by

An opportunity for Schenectady residents to give voice to their inner artist and help to chase away the winter blues is being planned. It is open to all, even if they have never picked up a brush.

Jennifer Hockford is an area artist, and she will be sharing her talents during the Ballston sip and paint session. The $45 registration fee covers the cost of all the materials needed to create some hand painted glasses they can use any time they enjoy a glass of wine.

The evening will open with appetizers that will feature locally grown ingredients, and they participants will have a chance to meet and get to know one another. After this, the painting will begin, and the instruction followed will provide a step-to-step guide for completing the project. As they work, the guests can enjoy a complimentary glass of wine or IPA. Anyone who wishes to purchase a special drink can do so for $5.

An event like this can be a fun way to add some warmth to a winter evening. Flyers can be placed throughout the local area to make the public aware that an event like this is on offer, and these can be produced by a flyer printing service.

February 12 has been chosen as the date for this creative occasion. It will be held at 116 Kingsley Road in Ballston.
