Duluth workshop teaches social media for real estate agents

More businesses of all sizes are discovering the power of social media, but not all know how to make the most of it. A workshop planned for Duluth’s real estate agents will seek to change that, and it is open to all, whether they are social media savvy or a complete newbie.

The seminar will offer practical tips that can be actioned by almost any real estate agent or brokerage, including how to create actual marketing events using Facebook. The attendees will also find out how they can measure the results to determine whether or not a particular campaign is a success.

The topics that are on the slate for discussion during the workshop range from content creation for websites to the different types of advertisements on Facebook, building and retaining an audience, and also how social media can fit into a traditional marketing campaign. The organizer explained that this is all being offered with a goal of allowing the participants to become self-sufficient so that they no longer have to depend on retail real estate sites.

A fast-paced event like this can pack a lot of information into a short period of time. Promotional pens, notepads, and other materials can be distributed to the participants so that they can easily make any notes they wish.

This opportunity for local real estate agents to become more social media savvy is being offered on January 17. It will be held in the Infinite Energy Center.
