New winter program for Pease Library

The Pease Public Library in Plymouth is offering exciting programs in winter for adults and children.

Book Buddies meets Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. It meets January 2 and 16. Children with difficulty reading meet with a certified therapy dog. They learn to read to the dog, which is a relaxing low-key way to learn to read.

Sensory Play meets on January 3 at 10:15 a.m. It is for children aged three and under to explore art, the five senses, and develop motor skills.

The Knitting Group meets on Monday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. All knitting levels are welcome. Learn to knit and make practical items for family and friends. Plymouth has print shops that design logos for organizations like this.

On January 16 at 6:30 p.m. author Michael Bruno will discuss his book Cruising New Hampshire History: A Guide to New Hampshire Historical Roadside Remarks. Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Toddler Music Exploration takes place on January 17 at 10:15 am. Toddlers learn to play musical instruments. Tinker Time will be held January 17 at 3:30. Children play with littleBits and snap circuits.

The Lego Club meets on January 28 at 3:30 Children learn to build and design with legos. The teen program dinner and a movie will be held on January 28 at 5:00 to 6:30 p.m. Grade 6 and up are welcome. Teens watch a movie and make a personal pizza.

The library is located at 1 Russell Street. Registration is required on some programs so visitors are advised to call before attending.
