Free First Fridays open at Washington Pavilion

December 26, 2018 by

Sioux Falls will celebrate Free First Friday in January. This event includes admission to multiple locations, as well as entries into contests.

Free admission is included to the Kirby Science Discovery Center and the Visual Arts Center. The Kirby Science Center has over 100 active exhibits, including dinosaur skeletons and replicas, a space exhibit, and more covering topics on nature of all kinds. The Visual Arts Center has seven exhibit spaces where they showcase regional, national, and international works of arts of all types. Exhibits are routinely changed throughout the year.

There will be various science activities during the event, for attendees of all ages. Attendees can also enter giveaways for things like memberships to the museums, or other prizes. Attendees can also purchase discounted tickets to the CineDome, for educational or mission films.

There is parking available nearby, and for those interested, there are also multiple restaurants in the area. Parking is free after 5pm every day, and on weekends. This event doesn’t start until 5pm, so parking for this would be free.

Flyer printing is an effective way to let guests know about upcoming events, as well as bring in new guests. This event is free, so all are invited to attend. This event will take place on Friday, January 4, from 5pm to 8pm.
