Concord Historical Society hosts Gingerbread House Boutique

December 6, 2018 by

The Concord Historical Society is hosting a fun event soon, as it holds its inaugural Gingerbread House Boutique. In addition, attendees can tour the Galindo Home as well.

Boutique organizers say it’s a great place for people to do their Christmas shopping. There will be handcrafted items made by local vendors, who are creating cork art and homemade cards. There will be sweet treats for everyone to enjoy, and attendees are invited to walk through the Holiday Lanes. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to help people find specific vendors.

Visitors to the boutique will have a chance to enjoy even more of the holiday spirit, because the Galindo Home, which dates back to 1856, and is next door to the location of the boutique, will be open for tours. The home has been decorated for the holidays and now features a different Christmas tree in every room.

The Gingerbread House Boutique will be held from 11 am until 5 pm on December 9 and again December 10. The Concord Historical Society Event Center is on Clayton Road; parking is at 1721 Amador Avenue. The event is free and suitable for all ages.

Christmas at the Galindo will be held both days, from 1.00 pm until 4 pm. Admission is $5, but will be waived if the person purchases something at the boutique.
