Torrington’s Charlotte Hungerford Hospital will soon be playing host to an exhibition of art that will focus on people’s furry, feathery, and scaly friends, all crafted by award-winning artist ShawnaLee Kwashnak.

The works, which will have been created using oils, charcoals, and pencils will be available for purchase, and the public is welcome to come out and enjoy the family friendly display. They will all be crafted by hand, and according to a description of Kwashnak’s work, they will be capture the spirit of the pet involved through their level of detail.

The collection of works of art will be housed in the hospital’s gift shop, and the public is welcome to stop by and view them for themselves. Anyone who decides that they would like to bring one home with them or purchase one to give to a family member or friend has been asked to stop by the gift shop.

An exhibition like this can provide an opportunity for local artists to have their talent seen by a wide audience. Signage and other items that can make it even more special can be created for this sort of an event by a printer that offers graphic design services.

This free art show will be open for the public to enjoy throughout January. Anyone who would like to learn more about the artist is invited to visit her website.
