Celebration brings world of wine to Long Island

November 26, 2018 by

Wines sourced from countries all over the globe will be poured as part of this year’s Carltun Food and Wine Festival, and gourmands from Rockville Centre are expected to be among the crowd showing up at this foodie-friendly occasion.

Over 200 wines have been selected for inclusion in the festival, and Executive Chef Rodrigo Bernal will also be lending his culinary talents to the celebration. Live music will help to provide a vibrant backdrop to the function, and guests who would like to pick up a bottle to add to their collection will be welcome to try their luck at placing the winning bid during the silent auction.

While the attendees are enjoying themselves, they can feel good knowing that they are supporting the Michael Magro Foundation, which provides assistance for children living with cancer and chronic illnesses. Large sized visual items that include infographics about how the funds raised will be used can create a big impact during an event like this, and they can be prepared by an area poster printing company.

The Carltun has made plans to host this festival dedicated to food, wine and fun on January 18. More details about both the event, the dishes and beverages that will be served, and also the prices for the various ticket options, can be found on its website.
