Major distribution company moves to larger facility in Devens

November 26, 2018 by

Quiet Logistics has recently signed a lease at 64 Jackson Road in Devens to relocate its operations.

This new facility is 355,000 square feet in size as compared to its former space of 184,077 square feet at 235 Barnum Road in Devens.

The new space on Jackson Road is located in the Devens Commerce Center. It is a Class A warehouse and distribution facility on close to 35 acres of land. The ceilings are 26 feet in height. The facility has a state-of-the-art infrastructure, full humidity and air-conditioning control, and a full-service cafeteria. The owner of the property is GFI Partners, which purchased the vacant space in March 2018.

As a fulfillment provider that specializes in e-commerce solutions and innovative brands, Quiet Logistics was expanding rapidly and outgrowing its previous space. It was looking for a larger space for its workforce and will be leasing the entire building on Jackson Road.

Tony Coskren of Newmark Knight Frank, the company that represented GFI Partners in the transaction, commented that Quiet Logistics will be pleased with the new facility as it can remain in Devens with cutting-edge amenities and still have distribution access throughout New England.

Stationery printers could be used by such companies when they make moves to bigger and enhanced facilities as a way to inform suppliers.
