Time to make tracks for holiday fun near North Conway

November 18, 2018 by

It’s all aboard for holiday fun on the Santa Holiday Express.

The train will be pulling out from its North Conway area station and heading out for an hour-long round trip that will feature some very special guests.

The ride, which will be family friendly, will be hosted by the big guy in red who will be bringing along some elves to help make the event even more memorable. They will interact with the riders and help to build the holiday spirit of the occasion.

While the guests enjoy the winter scenery as the train winds along its route, the elves will be serving cookies and hot chocolate. There will be lots of photo ops to be had, and parents are reminded to make sure that their phones are charged so they can get lots of pictures of the excitement of the day.

Tickets for adults start at $18 while those for kids age 4 to 12 start at $12.50, and children who are age four or under can ride for free. A printing services provider will be able to use graphic design techniques to craft vehicle wraps and other decor that can be used to give the train in an event like this a special holiday look.

The train will make two runs a day on weekends up until December 15, and then they will be offered daily until December 23. Coach, first class, and dome car seating are all available. The Conway Scenic Railway’s website can be consulted for further details and departure times.
