Countdown on for Napa holiday celebration

November 18, 2018 by

An annual event that brings the community together is on the agenda for Napa, and everyone is welcome to come out and join in the spirit of the celebration. It will be an experience that can be enjoyed by all ages, and admission is free.

The city will be installing a 40-foot-tall holiday tree, and when the switch is thrown, it will be covered by thousands of twinkling lights. The public will also be invited to browse through an artisan market, and there will also be other activities to enjoy.

While the crowd warms up over hot cider and holiday cookies, they can sing along with the professional carolers on hand. There will be special performances just for the kids, and they will also be able to spend some time with Santa. The grown-ups in the group can purchase some of the beer or wine from Vista Colina Resort that will be offered for sale.

To help make sure every child has a reason to celebrate the season, members of the public who come to the festivities are asked to bring along a new, unwrapped toy. These will be collected and donated to the Marine ‘Toys for Tots’ program. Items created by a poster printing company can be placed throughout the community, which can help to ensure an event like this is a success.

This year’s Napa tree lighting ceremony will be held on Friday, November 30 at 850 Bordeaux Way.
