The Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach is having Aquarium Holidays and Holiday Treat for Animals as part of its holiday programs. The event provides educational and festive activities for families.

Aquarium Holidays will have a special display of holiday-decorated gingerbread houses. There will be snow fall in the Great Hall and the museum will have staff members dressed in holiday costumes. Santa will be there to visit too.

There will be shopping and a special menu offered at the Café Scuba. It has sandwiches, soups, flatbreads, salads, wraps, waffles, burgers, a kids’ menu, and side dishes.

Most activities will take place on the weekends, with a snow play area for children, crafts, photos with Santa, and Christmas and Hanukkah storytelling and activities.

The Aquarium Holiday Dinner takes place on December 6 from 7:00 to 10:00 pm. It has a complete meal and special guests. Long Beach has print shops that design corporate gifts for fundraising for museums like this.

Holiday Treats for Animals part of the Aquarium Holidays will take place on December 8 and 9, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Divers dressed like Santa deliver gifts to the fish, sea lions, seals, otters, and penguins.

Aquarium Holiday will be held on the first four Saturdays in December from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The Aquarium is located at 100 Aquarium Way, and has a parking garage.
