The 25th Annual Southern Lights Holiday Festival at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington will provide light displays, animated scenes of Christmas, a petting zoo, crafts, and snacks.

Visitors will see light displays of horses racing in front of a crowd, grazing in pastures, and jumping over fences. The Kentucky Horse Park puts on Kentucky’s largest light show every year.

Kentucky Horse Park is located 4089 Lexington Parkway. The four-mile drive has animated scenes of Santa with reindeer and elves, snowflakes, and other holiday decoration. After the drive, visitors can park and enjoy other holiday activities.

The attractions open include a craft fair with holiday crafts, wreaths, ornaments, toys, and holiday gifts. The petting zoo has reindeer and other animals for children to meet. Lexington has printing services that can design promotional products for events like this.

The International Museum of the Horse at the park has Santa and a train display by the Bluegrass Railroad Club for adults and children. There will be pony and camel rides, a mini train ride, entertainment, hot chocolate, and cookies.

The gift shop and Bit and Bridle Restaurant is open for business. The restaurant has salads, sandwiches, hotdogs, desserts, and soft drinks.

The Annual Southern Lights Festival takes place from tonight (November 16) to December 31 from 5:30 pm to 10:00 pm at the Kentucky Horse Park.
