Riverside’s Mission Inn Hotel & Spa will once again present Festival of Lights. The festival will feature lighted displays of over five million lights, food vendors, rides, entertainment, and fireworks.

The Switch-on Ceremony will begin the festival. Local and professional talent will perform nightly on two stages. Fans will be purchasing promotional products from their favorite groups. Street performers will be at the Metropolitan Museum Plaza and Library Plaza every evening.

An Artisans Collective will be an arts market featuring original art for purchase from local artists, free public workshops and live musical entertainment from local musicians.

Horse-drawn carriage rides will be available at three locations along Main Street. The Giant Wheel, colorful vintage carousel, and the trackless train will be available for rides.

The festivities will end with the ringing in of the New Year. This free family event will have the Riverside Festival of Lights activities and vendors plus New Year-themed activities, confetti, pinatas, and lots of music.

The Festival of Lights Switch-on Ceremony will be November 23. The event will be open from noon until 10:00 pm with the ceremony from 4:30 until closing.

The Artisans Collective will be at 9th Street and Main Street starting November 24. Hours will be Wednesdays through Sundays from 5:00 until 10:00 pm.

The New Year’s Eve Celebration will be December 31 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm on the Main Library Plaza at 3581 Mission Inn Avenue.
