Café Zippy in Everett offers some exciting activities for customers next month, with poetry, game night, music, story tellers, and crafts on offer.

In December, locals can stop by for Game Night and a free drawing for coffee on Mondays. This event is held on December 3, 10, 17, 24, and 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Customers can bring their own board games or enjoy one supplied by the venue..

Every Thursday in December from 7:00 to 9:00 pm is Everett Poetry Night. All ages and poets are invited to stop by to perform or listen. Sessions often have a featured poet for the evening.

Jim Page, a story teller and guitarist, will perform on December 8 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. He has been on stage with Bonnie Raitt and his songs were performed by the Doobie Brothers and David Soul.

On December 9 from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Lucas Victor and Diane Althaus will play classical guitar from Spain and Europe with vocals.

The Upcycle Project Event will run on December 11 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Attendees can turn old sweaters into hats, gloves, and tote bags. No experience is needed as participants learn to make simple patterns out of the old sweaters and T-shirts they bring along.

Improv Comedy Night is on December 15 from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. Free to attend, some of the comedians are from Jet City Improv in Seattle.

Located at 1502 Rucker Avenue, Café Zippy serves coffee, tea, Italian soda, hot chocolate, breakfast, soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts during special events. Venues with a busy month ahead often turn to local print shops for help with promotion.
