MIAC has announced that it is opening a new technology facility in Bethlehem.

A prominent provider of accounting, pricing, and risk management solutions serving the financial and mortgage services industries, the firm recently announced that its Bethlehem Technology Center (BTC) has opened. MIAC’s Robert Husted, speaking on behalf of the company, said in a press release:

“With its many outstanding colleges and universities, and its engineering and technology heritage, the Lehigh Valley was a natural choice for the BTC. Designed from the ground up with DevOps best practices in mind, the Center will be a key contributor to the latest MIAC Analytics™ applications and services.”

As the seventh largest Pennsylvania city, Bethlehem has a diverse range of industries that include hospitality, financial services, industrial, and retail. A managing director at MIAC, Joseph Furlong, said the city was an obvious fit for the company and that the new BTC made for a natural avenue for growth. It would enable the company to benefit from the Lehigh Valley area’s high level professional workforce.

The Bethlehem Technology Center is in the heart of the city’s Southside district. Business card printing for the Center’s associates will show the BTC’s address as 202 West Fourth St., Second Floor.

MIAC is headquartered in Manhattan, New York and has international offices in Bengaluru, India, and London. Recently, the firm moved its North Carolina office to a more spacious location in Charlotte’s Toringdon Office Park.
