Santa set to visit with Gaithersburg’s special needs families

The holidays can be a happy and exciting time of year, but for children with physical, mental or developmental challenges, it can sometimes feel as if they have been left out of some of the fun. This is the impetus behind a visit Santa will be making to Gaithersburg, and all area special needs families are welcome to register their children for the activity.

Lakeforest Mall has set aside a block of time when families can enjoy a visit with Santa that will be tailored just for their special needs child and their siblings. The visit itself is free of charge, and the families can opt to purchase a photo package if they wish so that they can capture the memories for years to come.

St. Nick will be meeting the kids and spending time with them in the Santa Set, which will be set up in the mall’s Center Court. A printing services provider can make a day like this even more special by supplying coloring books, printed promotional pens, and other small gifts that can be given to each child who comes out.

The date for this event will be December 2, and the timeslots will be between 9:00 am and 11:00 am. Families are welcome to book a visit during the morning that fits into their daily schedule.
