Churro eatery to open in Tempe

The Tempe Marketplace will become home to a new churro concept that began in California early next year.

Churroholic will be opening in the space that was once occupied by Classy Jazzy next to the children’s splash pad and Dave and Buster’s.

The eatery serves a wide range of deep-fried churro desserts, including cookies and cream, chocolate and coconut, and matcha and Fruity Pebbles, as well the original. Also on the menu is the original churro sandwich, with choice of ice cream between two churros.

There are various beverages on the menu, including blended coffee drinks, such as a mocha frappe and Mexican cocco frappe, coffee, and tea. Milkshakes include the Cookie Monster with blue vanilla ice cream stuffed with brownies and cookie dough, and topped with whipped cream.

The company was founded in 2017 in Anaheim, California and news of its range of tasty treats quickly spread throughout the community. The company prides itself on its bakers of the churros who undergo rigorous training to ensure that the churros and beverages are of high quality. It also looks to create a fun environment so that family, friends, and others can meet for an enjoyable community experience.
