Santa stops by in Edison ahead of Christmas

November 6, 2018 by

No doubt because he is always frantically busy on Christmas Eve, Santa Claus is already in Edison, at the Menlo Park Mall. He was welcomed earlier this month, but there are plenty of opportunities ahead for people to meet the jolly old elf.

As usual, people will be able to meet and take photos with Santa, and in addition, this year there are two noteworthy events – an opportunity to have pet photos taken, and special hours that are sensory-friendly.

People may have their pets photographed with Santa on four upcoming Sundays: from 7:00 pm until 8:30 pm on November 11, November 18, and December 2, as well as from 8:00 pm until 9:30 pm on December 9. Organizers of events like this could use banner printing to create a cheerful backdrop.

Arrangements have also been made for children with special needs, who can meet a ‘Caring Santa’ in a special, sensory-friendly environment. People who would like to arrange for this option are asked to register online. The sensory-friendly meetings are scheduled for 9:00 am until 10:30 am on November 18 and December 2, and 8:00 am to 9:30 am on December 9.

A party to officially welcome Santa will be held this Friday, November 9, and there is also a pajama party planned for December 1 on which children are encouraged to don their favorite festive PJs for the event.
