Female-focused conference coming to Winston-Salem

November 1, 2018 by

The Salem College Center for Women in Business will shortly be hosting its annual conference.

The theme for 2018 is Nurturing Your Personal Ecosystem. The conference’s main focus will be on using talents and understanding networking to be able to succeed professionally. With business card printing orders no doubt already in motion, it will feature inspirational speakers, panel discussions, and several breakout seminar sessions for both the morning and afternoon.

The purpose of the conference is to give women aspiring to go into high-class careers the tools and techniques that they need to build themselves as business leaders. These tools are also designed to be helpful in establishing beneficial networking relationships along the way.

Tickets are $25.00 plus a $3.16 fee for students, and $35.00 plus a $3.77 fee for the general admission. There are a total of six breakout sessions this year and attendees will need to pick one to go to in the morning and one in the evening at registration. The conference also wants its attendees to know that even though it is primarily targeted at women, men are welcome as well, and there is no age limit.

The conference is scheduled to take place on Friday, November 16, at 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. It will be at the Wake Forest Biotech Place’s Atrium in the Innovation Quarter, Winston-Salem.
