Charity pub crawl planned for Pittsburgh

This holiday season, Pittsburgh will be the place to be for those who want to enjoy a great time with friends while they do a good turn for local charities.

The event is a friendly competition involving eight local organizations, and people who plan on participating can choose the one they wish to sign up under. The registration fee starts at $30, and this includes a $10 gift that will be donated to the not-for-profit group of the individual’s choice. Anyone who wants to go the extra mile can do so by purchasing a ‘the Ultimate Giver’ ticket, and these are on offer for $108.67.

The goal of the celebration is to both raise money and have a lot of fun. Each ticket holder will receive a sweatshirt in a color that represents the cause they are supporting as well as drink specials at the 12 bars that will be participating. The revelers can leave their vehicles at home, as there will be a free shuttle service to transport the group to the different establishments. Wristbands, maps of the locations on the crawl, souvenir clothing, drinkware and other corporate gifts for this sort of festive occasion can be crafted by a local printer.

This opportunity to support charitable causes while having a great night out with friends has been planned for December 14. The first stop on the ‘12 Bars of Charity’ fundraiser will be announced closer to that date.
