November program revealed at Spire Center

The Spire Center for the Performing Arts in Plymouth has concerts, lecture and theater scheduled for late fall.

On November 3, two senior recitals will take place. Emily Lombardo will perform her senior recital at 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm, and will play alto saxophone accompanied by Constance Chesbrough on piano. The theme is classical and jazz literature. Hannah Grady, a soprano, will perform her senior recital at 5-6 p.m. She sings 12 classical vocal numbers. These recitals are free.

The PSU Theater will present Game Night on November 14, 15, and 16 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm and November 17 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm. In this comedy, four friends get together to play board games and relax during the weekend, but one of the couples is planning to propose, creating some confusion and chaos.

On November 19 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm. The All New England Band Festival will perform 7:00 to 9:00 pm. Two bands will be performing with over 200 high school performers. Plymouth has printing services that can design and provide flyer printing for events like this.

Professor Rodenhouse of Wellesley College talks about climate change and mass extinction from 7:00 to 8:00 pm on November 27. Lastly, a Fall Jazz Ensemble Concert will be performed on November 30 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.

Theater performances are located in The Hanaway Theater, a 665-seat theater, while concerts and lectures are in the 175-seat Smith Recital Hall.

The Center is located at 17 High Street at Plymouth State University. Free parking is available in several lots in the evenings.
