Napa ranch will soon be celebrating harvest season

October 16, 2018 by

It’s harvest time in and around Napa, and Connolly Ranch has issued an invitation to members of the local community to enjoy spending some time on the farm.

The ranch will be throwing its gates open so that the public can participate in a free event that will help them feel more connected with the land and the other creatures they share it with. The organizers have planned for it to be suitable for any age, and parents and children alike can try their hand at the different activities that will be set up for the day.

The ranch’s farm animals will be on hand to meet with the guests, and its gardens will also be open for anyone who would like to visit and get some inspiration for their own yard. They can also hike the trails that wind through the property or try their hand at one of the games. Along with all of this, heritage crafts, including wool spinning, corn grinding, and even scarecrow building will all be demonstrated.

While there is no admission fee being charged to take part in this afternoon on the ranch, donations will be very appreciated. The facility, which is a 501c3 nonprofit, will utilize them to give area students a chance to connect with nature and the world around them. A print company will be able to use poster printing techniques to craft large format marketing materials for this sort of event.

This opportunity to celebrate the season has been arranged for November 3. The ranch gates will be open for the occasion starting at 3:00 pm.
