Cincinnati set to be spellbound

October 8, 2018 by

Cincinnati residents may find themselves in the Wizarding World soon, as a pop-up event with a Harry Potter theme makes its way to the city.

Wizardfest, a production of Pop Up Party Tours, will stop at Bogart’s in Cincinnati, bringing J. K. Rowling’s world of wizardry and witchcraft along with it. The event will feature trivia with a Harry Potter theme, as well as special drinks such as Unicorn Blood, Polyjuice Potion, Fire Whisky, and Butterbeer. There will be an opportunity for cosplay for those who want to dress as their favorite characters, along with dancing, music, and magicians.

The ‘Muggles’ who are deemed best-dressed will be able to enter a costume contest, where they will have a chance to win prizes, including cash. Tickets to events like this make for fun corporate gifts.

John Damiano, the founder of Pop Up Party, came up with the Wizardfest idea in 2016, and said his Harry Potter parties have been a tremendous success, and are selling out across the country, thanks to the incredible popularity of the books and films. He believes there’s something for everyone in the Wizarding World, whether they simply love Harry Potter, appreciate magic, or enjoy dancing.

The magic happens at Bogart’s on October 17. Tickets are $15, with special packages available for $35. The party is for those over 18, and full details are available on Pop Up Party’s website.
