Huge craft show on horizon for East Brunswick area

An event is on the way for the East Brunswick area that will offer lots of chances for the public to get a jump start on their holiday shopping while supporting the local community of artisans and crafters.

The organizers of this year’s Sugarloaf Craft Festival will be bringing together a curated group of creators, and everything from handmade soaps to home décor will be on offer. It is expected that at least 350 vendors will be included in the weekend expo, and many will be on hand to meet with the crowd in person.

While the shoppers browse through the assorted displays and buy any items that catch their eye, there will be lots of other activities to enjoy as well. There will be live art demonstrations where the guests can watch an artist at work, and they can even get creative in their own in a painting class. The younger folks can catch a show at the interactive puppet theater, and there will also be a large assortment of food booths where the foodies in the crowd can try out some local culinary creations.

Everyone who would like to find out more about what the area’s artistic community has to offer is welcome, and the admission price is $8. Area print shops can produce customized shopping guides, banners, signs and other items that can aid in ensuring that both shoppers and vendors get the most they can from an event like this.

The doors of this year’s craft festival, which will be held in Edison’s NJ Convention and Expo Center, will open on November 9 at 10:00 am. The event will wind up on November 11 at 5:00 pm.
