Charlotte’s food lovers may want to make sure they have their forks ready for a celebration that will be hitting the city this fall.

JJ Red Hots’ yearly Sausagefest has proven to be a popular event, and it will give the public a chance to sample some of its latest creations. This will be washed down with tastings from area craft breweries, and more than 30 beers will be on tap.

According to the organizers, the fun will be so big this year, it cannot be contained in one space. It will be spread out over the venue’s parking lot, as well as its rooftop balcony. The live entertainment will be provided by Time Sawyer and The Whisky Dollars, and there will be lots of photo ops and other activities as well. Many of the sausages will be crafted just for the occasion, and to help ensure that everyone makes it home safely, both regular and designated driver tickets are being sold.

Each guest at the event will be encouraged to have a great time. To keep the fun going even after the party has come and gone, all regular ticket holders will receive a special designed 8oz glass they can use to sample the craft beers and then take home with them afterwards. Promotional products like this can be prepared by an area printer.

Anyone who is interested is being a part of this salute to the sausage may wish to mark November 3 on their calendars. It will be taking place at 1514 East Boulevard in Charlotte.
