Coral Springs gets Halloween thrills

October 2, 2018 by

Kids and teens get into the Halloween spirit during October, and the Coral Springs area has something for all.

Little ones up through fifth grade and their families can enjoy an evening of Halloween fun at the Halloween Haunted House. Children are invited to dress up as superheroes, cartoon characters, princesses, or anything else they want and stroll through a non-scary haunted house. The path will take them through indoor classrooms and ultimately to an area where they burn off energy on bounce houses and ride down slides.

The littlest ghosts and goblins will have a special-themed room geared to babies and toddlers. Parents may shoot pictures of their little ones and take the photos to local print shops to have them made into cards and family calendars. All Trick-or-Treaters will receive plenty of candy when they leave.

To be truly frightened, Coral Springs pre-teens and teens will need to head over to Margate for the Demented Haunt – The Escape. This will be 60 minutes of challenging clues in four rooms filled with Halloween terror.

The Halloween Haunted House will be October 27 from 2:00 to 7:00 pm at the Springs Gymnasium 2501 Coral Springs Drive. The gym is a little north of Royal Palm Blvd.

The Demented Escape Room will be open from noon until 11:00 pm every evening in October, and every evening in November until the 17th. The Room is located at 2515 State Road 7 in Margate.
