St. Ann ranked as state’s safest city

Auto insurance price comparison website Insurify recently ranked St. Ann as the safest city in Missouri.

The designation was awarded to St. Ann as the website collected data to show that during the previous seven years, the number of residents who reported having at-fault driving accidents was lower than anywhere else. This data is gathered by Insurify as part of the questions asked of applicants when they apply for insurance through the site.

Insurify has been collecting data from applicants since it began operations in 2015. The company said that over 1.5 million applications had been analyzed by its statisticians to arrive at its rankings, and that such data is also used to produce new data-driven articles every week.

Traffic citations and accidents resulting from driving under the influence, speeding, reckless driving, failure to stop at a stop sign, and other such violations qualify as at-fault incidents.

Matt Conley, the city administrator for St. Ann, commented that one reason for such a good showing of the city is its relatively large population of elderly people. In addition, the city has a reputation for its robust approach to enforcing traffic laws.

The lowest ranking city in Missouri on the list compiled by Insurify was O’Fallon.

Banner printing companies can be hired to display more information about such achievements and their ramifications for the community.
