Falling leaves means cider time in Washington

In Washington, the autumn harvest season brings with it a variety of ciders crafted from the apples that grow in the area, and an event is on the way that will help them put their best foot forward.

Over 50 ciders, along with a variety of craft beers, will all be on tap during Rock the Core Cider Fest. Guests can choose the tasting session that is best suited to their schedule, and both general admission and Cider Lovers tickets are being sold.

While the attendees enjoy sampling the beverages, they can choose try some of the offerings from the food trucks that will be parked on site. An artisans’ market will also be set up where local artisans will be showcasing their works, and all those who come out will be welcome to browse through the items on display and purchase any that catch their eye.

This activity will be an adults-only event, and no one under the age of 21 will be permitted entry. Service animals are welcome, and anyone who has questions they wish to act the organizer can contact them by calling (202) 618-3663. Banners, logo designs, forms, drinkware and other items that can help to make sure an event like this is well attended and runs smoothly can be crafted by local print shops.

This opportunity for Washington cider lovers to sample some of the district’s best will be held on October 27. The Eagle Bank Club at Audi Field will act as the host for the occasion.
