Royersford area workshop to focus on food

September 28, 2018 by

An event on the horizon for Royersford will lead parents, healthcare professionals, and educators through an exploration of the connection between people’s food choices and their overall health.

Dr. Daphne von Boch will serve as the guide for both an evening workshop, and also the session that will run throughout the next day. The people who take part in this learning opportunity will discover how they can aid those in their care in making healthy eating decisions, and they will also see how the principles taught can be applied to everyday life.

During these activities, the attendees will learn about a variety of popular diets, including low fat, vegetarian, low carb, and vegan. Details and tips about nutrition will be shared and there will also be a discussion about food sensitivities and the various effects they can have on a person’s body.

The registration fee for ‘The Nutritional Paradigm’ has been set at $50, and this include snacks as well as a specially prepared organic lunch. A printer can supply branded corporate gifts and other items that can be distributed as swag during this type of function.

This opportunity for the public to learn more about the power of nutrition and how to make positive food choices will begin on October 5 with a lecture, and it will continue with a series of presentations the following day. They will all be taking place in Camphill Special School, which can be found at 551 West Seven Stars Road in Phoenixville.
