Festival offers fun for Lego fans of all ages

The Brick Fest Live Lego festival is taking place for two days next month in Houston.

The festival will offer a variety of activities and experience for fans of the colorful building blocks, no matter what their age or interests.

There will be several different areas set up, including the Glow Gallery, which will have Lego creations lit up, and the Brick Fest Speedway where guests can build and race their own custom-built cars. Guests can also add to the Mystery Floor Mosaic to help set a new Guinness World Record. In addition, there will be several inspiration stations and build stations set up all over the venue.

Other activities will include a video game arena and a display of a miniature golf course made entirely of Lego.

There will also be a shopping market where guests can purchase new Lego sets, vintage Lego, accessories and mini figures.

VIP tickets are available for $39.50. They include admission to the festival one hour earlier and a goodie bag filled with surprises. It is likely that the goodie bags will contain some promotional products from sponsors of the festival, which are often supplied by Houston print shops.

Brick Fest Live Lego will be held at the NRG Center from October 20 to 21. For the most current information, visit the official event website.
