Over the last two decades, Zoup!, a popular concept eatery has been growing its way across the U.S and Canada and will soon open its newest location here in Florence.

A total of 12 varieties of soup are rotated daily at Zoup!, among which are low-fat, gluten-free, low-cal, dairy-free and vegetarian. Served with a large piece of freshly baked bread, guests are welcome to sample soups before ordering and the menu also includes made-to-order sandwiches and salads. Every item on the menu is offered for catering in group sizes of 10 or more.

Many eating establishment owe at least part of the credit for their success to the unique, eye-catching logo design they have chosen, which grabs the attention of potential diners, and the Zoup! logo is easily recognized throughout its more than 100 stores.

Franchise owner-operator Pat Cowley is not the first person in her family to be bitten by the food service bug. Her grandparents in Chicago started an Italian restaurant in 1948 that is still going strong, and her uncle runs a profitable retail and wholesale bakery. Husband Jim brings 33 years’ experience in food service to the enterprise.

Louisville already has a Zoup!, and this fall at the Florence Square shopping center at 7743 Mall Road A, residents here will be have the opportunity to visit the restaurant daily.
