Petaluma Oktoberfest to help local scholars reach their goals

September 22, 2018 by

Many Petaluma students work hard to make their educational dreams come true, and an event that will be held in the community this October will help them on their way.

An Oktoberfest-themed fundraiser has been organized in support of the Trevor Smith Memorial Foundation, and everyone is welcome. This will be the event’s third year, and as it was a sell out in 2017, anyone who would like to attend has been advised to purchase their tickets well ahead of time before they are all gone.

The fun will kick off at 5:30 pm, and the guests at the celebration will be treated to a festive atmosphere complete with German-inspired food, live music, and games. Several silent auction baskets have been prepared for the attendees to bid on, and wine raffles have also been included in the plans for the occasion. Just as in an actual German Oktoberfest, beer will be served, and there will be lots of fun for everyone who comes out.

Banner printing services from the local area will be able to craft Oktoberfest decorations for this sort of function, which can help to create an authentic atmosphere. Early bird tickets start at $30, and after October 10, the price will go up.

This opportunity to help local scholars and have fun doing so will be held on October 15. The venue for the festivities is located at 1280 North McDowell Boulevard.
