East to meet West during Napa fundraising dinner

Each year, Soroptimist International of Napa hosts a fundraiser that brings a taste of the East Coast to the West, and all local seafood lovers are welcome to join the feast.

The group will be hosting its yearly Lobster Feed, and guests will be treated to a traditional Maine lobster dinner with all the trimmings. The food will be served “East Coast boil style” and those who plan on attending can expect lots of laughter and fun.

The menu for the occasion includes a fresh market sized lobster from Maine, and this will be accompanied by sausages, prawns, corn on the cob, potatoes, artichokes and many other savory treats. The live entertainment will add to the fun of the occasion, and there will also be dancing and a silent auction. A martini bar, wine and beer bar and other drink stations are also included on the agenda for the evening, and the ticket price for all of this starts at $95 each for an early bird pass.

For anyone who would like to make the occasion a luxurious one, a VIP ticket option is available. These entitle the bearer to reserved seating a well as their own wait staff, premium wine and a special dessert. Printed menus and other items for an event like this can be provided by stationery printers in the local area.

This opportunity for the public to enjoy a tasty time while doing a good turn for local women and girls has been planned for October 20. It will be held at 924 Napa Street, and the deadline to purchase an early bird ticket is Friday, September 21.
