Health and wellness fair returns to Temecula valley

The eighth annual Health and Community Resource Fair will be coming to Temecula later this month.

Many nonprofit organizations, including those that provide services for special needs, the military, and health and wellness, will be attending the fair and providing information about their free or low-costs resources available to the community. Brochure printing can be used by such organizations so that people can take away from such events details about the services provided.

There will also be free assessments and health screenings, such as blood pressure checks, dental screenings, and EKGs, as well as free samples of products that improve overall wellness and health. Educational information will be provided, including safety awareness and emergency preparedness. There will also be live entertainment and giveaways of prizes.

The City of Temecula is being joined for the fifth straight year by Temecula Valley Hospital in hosting the fair. Other sponsors of the fair include Fallbrook Skilled Nursing, Rancho Family Medical Group, Temecula Center for Cardiac Care, and Care 1st Health Care Plan.

Matt Rahn, mayor of Temecula, commented that he is proud of the city for holding this fair and opening it up to people of all walks of life.

The fair will be held at the Temecula Civic Center and Town Square from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm on Saturday, September 29.
